Rooms on Water is an atmospheric mini-hotel on board a large, beautiful historic boat.
Single rooms can be rented from Monday to Friday, not on weekends, except during the North Sea Jazz Festival.
6 Superior Cabins
The b&b features 6 luxurious cabins in the former cargo hold of the ship ‘Wilhelmina’.
- Two single beds, which can be made up as a double bed on request;
- Private bathroom with toilet, washbasin with make-up mirror, shower;
- One set of towels and shampoo, shower gel and hand soap;
- Free WiFi;
- Air conditioning, floor heating, opening porthole, passport mirror, wardrobe;
- Not suitable for babies and children up to 9 years old.

The prices vary per day, per person and per length of your stay.
Rotterdam collects tourist tax. This is 6.5% and is not included in the price.

Booking and Payment
- How can I make a reservation? You can reserve a room by entering your desired dates on the “Book now” page and making your selection.
- Which payment methods do you accept? We accept iDEAL, Bancontact, Maestro, Mastercard, Visa, and American Express.
- Do I need to make a deposit? Yes, when you book, you pay for the room rental and breakfast.
- Can I cancel or change my booking? You can always cancel, but it is only free if you cancel more than 15 days in advance. The cancellation conditions can be found here. If you would like to change your booking, please contact Moniek.
- Is the B&B easily accessible by public transport? Yes, very well. Rooms on Water is located near Blaak train station and Beurs metro station.
- Can I come by bicycle? Yes, no problem. You can park your bike on deck (as long as it does not inconvenience other guests) or in the bike rack next to the ship.
- Where can I park my car? You can park near Rooms on Water. We recommend the Parkbee parking garage at Wijnstraat 100 (50 m) or the Markthal parking garage (350 m).
- Check-in is between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM – what if I arrive later than planned? That can happen. The most important thing is to contact Moniek. She will try to be there to welcome you, but if she cannot be on board, you will receive the gate and front door codes as well as your room number so you can enter yourself.
- Is breakfast included? Yes, breakfast is always included. To minimize food waste, we ask you to indicate your breakfast preferences at check-in using a checklist. This makes the breakfast partly buffet and partly à la carte.
- What time is breakfast? Breakfast is served between 7:30 AM and 10:00 AM. Upon arrival, we ask you to indicate your preferred time. During the NSJ Festival, breakfast times may vary and are often later.
- Is luggage storage available? Usually, you can leave your luggage on the ship for a few hours. However, sometimes this is not possible due to groups, meetings, or the ship being closed. We advise you to ask Moniek about the options.
- Are there cooking facilities? No, guests are not allowed to use the kitchen. However, you may store some personal food in the refrigerator.
- Is there a bar on the boat? No, there is no bar, but there is an honesty fridge. It contains soft drinks and non-alcoholic (0.0%) beer that you can take yourself. You simply note what you use and pay upon departure.
