A very special accommodation right in the centre of Rotterdam. Many sights, restaurants and pubs are within walking distance. The friendly landlady contributed a lot to a pleasant stay with good service and helpful tips. If there was any downside, it was the noise in the harbour area, which is due to the great location and which we were comfortable with.

A beautifully renovated barge, set in a fantastically quiet, historic and unique location, within walking distance of so many beautiful, fun and welcoming places. An incredibly caring and sweet landlady, an all-in top breakfast, the best coma mattresses 😴 and the most beautiful view of Rotterdam. That's it, that's all. 10/10 with distinction.

A beautiful boat. Very well located and comfortable for several days in Rotterdam. We enjoyed it. The hostess was very friendly and always attentive to what was needed. I highly recommend it.

Our trip to Rotterdam was fantastic. Also thanks to the wonderful accommodation on board the ship. You are in the middle of the city and yet you feel like you are a bit at sea. Moniek is a very helpful and sympathetic host. The rooms on board are very well maintained, clean and used to their full potential. The well-equipped kitchen, the spacious living room and the opportunity to relax on the deck complete the cosy atmosphere

For us it was an experience to stay on a houseboat. We liked it a lot. Of course the cabin is small and everything is functional, but the location is super central, there is air conditioning if it is too noisy outside at night and you want to close the porthole. Breakfast is very tasty and extensive and the landlady very nice.

Moniek 's houseboat is just great for a larger group. Each room has its own small bathroom. Everything is well maintained. The facilities are super good. There are plenty of glasses, including champagne glasses, wine glasses. Everything! Plenty of toilet paper. There is a huge fridge. A huge freezer. Really everything is great. The location of the houseboat is also really super central in Rotterdam. Really great! Recommended.

If you want something different for once, go sleep on this boat. Very clean 6 bedrooms with private bathroom and toilet. large living area with well equipped kitchen and spacious deck terrace. Very well cared for. In the centre of Rotterdam, close to the Market Hall and the Cube Houses. Moniek is a friendly hostess, who lives in a separate part of the boat, hardly visible, but still very supportive

'Had a fantastic weekend with our children and supporters at RoW, right in the middle of Rotterdam. What luxury and tranquillity, inside. On top of the deck, you imagined yourself right in the middle of the bustling life of the Maasstad.
Lavishly equipped, with every convenience for everyone, clean and spacious. Enjoyed playing games, extensive cooking and eating on board, but also enjoyed the city.

Spent last days family weekend on Moniek's boat, it was all top. Clean and nice boat in very central yet quiet location, nice helpful hostess and nice weather. There was plenty of room, even for 13 adults (in the end we stayed with 11 people). Nice that each room has its own bathroom. I will definitely recommend Moniek!

What a wonderful accommodation!!! Tastefully decorated, practical, clean, kitchen well equipped for our party (8 adults and 3 children) and to crown all these compliments a friendly, helpful and attentive hostess Moniek. We celebrated Saint Nicholas as a 3-generation family at this special guesthouse. It became a weekend to remember. And who-knows, may we come back again, because there is more to experience and undertake in the area than is possible in 1 weekend.

As a last minute booking, easy arrangements for arrival and departure possible (just ask what’s possible!) There’s a personalised entry code for ship (safety) and clean, modern and private experience inside. Cool art and furniture everywhere! The breakfast options were very nice, fresh and tasty!

Great place, location, Host. Fun to stay on a House Boat.
It is a houseboat. What’s not to like. We had drinks on the top deck 1 evening and the next it rained so we had dinner & drinks below. It was clean, it had a large common area, modern facilities and the Host, Moniek, was Fantastic. She helped with local attractions and suggestions for Site Seeing. She prepared Breakfast which was great. I have already recommended this place to others.

A joyful stay in central Rotterdam and a terrific hostess
I liked the reception we got, very friendly and helpful. Cooking possibilities for special needs was excellent. Nice breakfast table for social contact with other travellers. A small sun deck was available, very nice. Close to city centre. (Note of the owner: There is 1 big table and there are 2 small tables in the living room, so when you want to have breakfast without socializing, that’s no problem).

Staying on a boat is an experience one should try once and “Rooms on Water” is a great place to try it for the first time. If it is not your first time, you will still enjoy this boat.
The location is great. The boat is located in a very central location from where you can walk to anywhere important in the city;
The owner Moniek is very nice and helpful. In our three days of stay, she was very friendly towards us and she helped us with anything we needed;
The boat is recently renovated and all the facilities are new. The rooms were very clean.

Very nice location! Boat has been beautifully renovated. Hostess creates a unique, cozy atmosphere. With a group of colleagues a meeting package of 2 days reserved. Everything went more than just fine and the food was excellent. Both business and private advisable! We will go back in any case!
